איך נרשמים למבחן IELTS

How to register for IELTS

התרגול כאן לא רושם אתכם למבחן. בישראל נרשמים באתר British Council, והמבחן מתקיים אצל שני השותפים שלו: International House Trust Assessment באזור תל אביב (מרכז הבחינה נמצא ברמת גן), ו-Yeda Plus בחיפה.

Practising here does not register you for the test. In Israel you book on the British Council site, and the test is held by its two partners: International House Trust Assessment in the Tel Aviv area (the test centre is in Ramat Gan), and Yeda Plus in Haifa.

חשוב! בחרו את המבחן הנכון לפני התשלום. Academic ו-General Training הם מבחנים שונים, ולוויזה לבריטניה ייתכן שתצטרכו IELTS for UKVI, שנרשמים אליו בנפרד. שאלו את המוסד או את הרשות שאתם פונים אליהם איזה מבחן הם דורשים.

Important! Choose the right test before you pay. Academic and General Training are different tests, and for a UK visa you may need IELTS for UKVI, which is booked separately. Ask the institution or the authority you are applying to which one it requires.

    Find out which test you need

    IELTS Academic מיועד ללימודים באוניברסיטה. General Training מיועד בעיקר להגירה ולעבודה. IELTS for UKVI מיועד לוויזה לבריטניה. את כולם אפשר לעשות בישראל.

    IELTS Academic is for university studies. General Training is mostly for immigration and work. IELTS for UKVI is for a UK visa. All of them are offered in Israel.

  2. בחרו מרכז בחינה ומועד

    Choose a centre and a date

    באתר ההרשמה בחרו את המבחן, אחר כך Israel ואת העיר, ובחרו תאריך מלוח השנה. בשני המרכזים יש מועדים בערך פעם בשבוע או בשבועיים. בישראל המבחן נעשה על מחשב.

    On the booking site choose the test, then Israel and the city, and pick a date from the calendar. Both centres offer dates about once a week or every two weeks. In Israel the test is taken on a computer.

  3. בחרו שעה למבחן ה-Speaking

    Choose your Speaking slot

    למבחן ה-Speaking יש שעה נפרדת, בדרך כלל באותו יום כמו שאר המבחן, והוא יכול להיות גם עד שבעה ימים לפני או אחרי. האתר מציע שעה, ואפשר לשנות אותה. נבחנים במרכז הבחינה, וייתכן שהשיחה עם הבוחן תהיה בשיחת וידאו.

    The Speaking test has its own time, usually on the same day as the rest of the test, and it can also be up to seven days before or after. The site suggests a time, and you can change it. You sit it at the test centre, and it may be held with the examiner over a video call.

  4. פתחו פרופיל והעלו תעודה

    Create a profile and upload your ID

    הזינו את המייל שלכם כדי לפתוח פרופיל. הכינו מראש צילום או סריקה של הדרכון או של תעודת הזהות. התעודה צריכה להיות בתוקף ביום ההרשמה וביום המבחן.

    Enter your email to create a profile. Have a photo or a scan of your passport or identity card ready. The ID must be valid on the day you book and on test day.

  5. שלמו את דמי ההרשמה

    Pay the fee

    המחיר לא זהה בשני המרכזים, ולכן כדאי להשוות. אתר ההרשמה מציג את המחיר למרכז ולמועד שבחרתם לפני התשלום.

    The price is not the same at the two centres, so compare them. The booking site shows the price for the centre and date you chose before you pay.

  6. הביאו את אותה תעודה ליום המבחן

    Bring the same ID on test day

    במרכז הבחינה צריך להציג את אותה תעודה שבה השתמשתם בהרשמה. עם תעודה אחרת ייתכן שלא יאפשרו לכם להיבחן.

    At the centre you must show the same document you used when you booked. With a different one you may not be allowed to test.

Before you pay

דרכון או תעודת זהות?

Passport or identity card?

British Council מקבלים דרכון בתוקף או תעודת זהות, ואתר ההרשמה מציג את הכללים המקומיים לישראל בזמן ההרשמה. אם אתם מתכוונים להשתמש בתוצאה בחו״ל, הירשמו עם הדרכון.

British Council accepts a valid passport or a national identity card, and the booking site shows the local rules for Israel when you book. If you are going to use the result abroad, book with your passport.

צריכים לשנות או לבטל?

Need to change or cancel?

אפשר להזיז את המבחן פעם אחת, בהודעה של לפחות 14 יום מראש, למועד בתוך שלושה חודשים מהמועד המקורי. המרכז רשאי לגבות דמי טיפול. אם מבטלים, ההחזר תלוי בכמה מוקדם ביטלתם, ומי שלא מגיע מפסיד את התשלום.

You can move the test once, with at least 14 days’ notice, to a date within three months of the original one. The centre may charge an administration fee. If you cancel, the refund depends on how early you do it, and if you do not show up you lose the fee.

How long it takes, and when results arrive

המבחן נמשך שעתיים ו-45 דקות: Listening 30 דקות, Reading 60, Writing 60, ו-Speaking 11 עד 14 דקות. במבחן על מחשב התוצאות מגיעות תוך יום עד חמישה ימים, בדרך כלל תוך יומיים.

The test takes 2 hours and 45 minutes: Listening 30 minutes, Reading 60, Writing 60, and Speaking 11 to 14 minutes. On a computer the results arrive within one to five days, usually within two.

Taking it again

אפשר להיבחן ב-IELTS כמה פעמים שרוצים, בלי תקופת המתנה, ומשלמים בכל פעם. יש גם One Skill Retake, שמאפשר להיבחן שוב בחלק אחד בלבד בתוך 60 יום. שאלו את המרכז אם האפשרות קיימת בישראל.

You can take IELTS as many times as you like, with no waiting period, and you pay each time. There is also One Skill Retake, which lets you resit a single section within 60 days. Ask the centre whether it offers it in Israel.
